In my photographic explorations I look for the untold, the unseen. When I make pictures, I look for something that is not there. Something hidden or not entirely obvious. Something I can’t tell the viewer with words, so that’s why I make pictures of it, even though it’s hidden or “not there”. It’s often empty spaces, seemingly endless roads, mysterious looking forests. I try to depict some sort of uneasy mood. Calming, yet disturbing. Which is exactly the way photography works for me.<\/p>\n

We all have different views on the world, and by showing your views in pictures, paintings or whatever artistic form, you expose something personal. Your own way of seeing and understanding your surroundings. Maybe my photographs look like something you’ve seen before, but on the other hand, people tell my photographs look like nothing they’ve seen before, despite the fact that the landscapes I visit are places that are well known for most people.<\/p>\n
